New York City: The game system known as nonfungible tokens (NFT) is undergoing certain changes. Players are now able to connect across a variety of gaming experiences thanks to a new partnership between Laguna Games, an entertainment firm specializing in Web3 R&D, and Lens Protocol.

Players will be able to link their profiles across Crypto Unicorn’s online and mobile NFT gaming platforms using these new decentralized gaming IDs.

The Lens integration is a binder that takes profiles that are stored on its network and integrates them with the avatar system that is used by Crypto Unicorns. This paves the way for new methods of logging into games and gaining access to leaderboards, in addition to opening up new opportunities for perks and incentives within the ecosystem.

According to Aron Beierschmitt, CEO and co-founder of Laguna Games, this is a technique to unsilo identification systems inside the ecosystems of game franchises.

According to Beierschmitt, “We will branch off an existing ecosystem in order to provide the most value possible to our player community.”

According to the inventor of Lens Protocol, Stani Kulechov, this integration is going to be beneficial for gamers on both platforms since it enables players to “travel smoothly and safely across platforms with one identity.”

In the realm of Web3, interoperability is an essential component of ever-expanding blockchain ecosystems, particularly when these ecosystems fill up with an increasing number of services and applications.

When discussing the process of navigating between different blockchain networks, interoperability is a phrase that is often used. However, as more Web3 apps are developed, there is a growing need for interoperability not just in gaming but also in other parts of the space.

Gaming in the Web3 domain has been lauded as a key gateway for widespread adoption and as an example of usefulness for ownership via NFTs. This has caused a lot of excitement among industry observers.

In addition to this, it is one of the subfields within the domain that is attracting the attention of investors. From July through September of this year, blockchain games and metaverse projects together collected $1.3 billion, as stated in a study compiled by DappRadar for its third quarter.

ChainSafe, a business that specializes in Web3 infrastructure, has just received $18.75 million as the company shifts its attention to the development of GameFi.
